Covid-19: Cases breach 5,000-mark, but fewest new cases since March 14

In a press conference on Wednesday, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Malaysia recorded 85 new Covid-19 cases, the first time since March 14 that the country recorded fewer than 100 cases in a 24-hour span.

The country also discharged 169 patients in the same period, which is nearly twice the number of new cases on the same day.
