Emraan Hashmi born on 24th March 1979 at Pulgaon Maharashtra, is an Indian actor and son of Anwar Ali and Maherah. He is married to childhood sweetheart Praveen Shahani and has a son Ayaan.
Emraan Hashmi is the cousin of actress Pooja Bhatt and director Mohit Suri, and Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhat are his uncles. Hence, Emraan’s presence is a must for all films made under his uncle’s banner- Vishesh Films.
Emraan started working as an assistant director at the age of 18 for a film Raaz.
He made his acting debut in the year 2003, in a film Footpath, however the course of his film career changed with the film murder in 2004 as the film was a box office hit.
He has acted in many films like- Zeher, Chocolate, Aksar, Gangster, Awarapan, Jannat, Raaz, Jawani Deewani, Murder, The Dirty Picture.
For the film- Once Upon A Time In Mumbai- he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor by Filmfare.
He is well known as the Kissing King of Bollywood and is known for his sex appeal.
