Kajol Mukherjee Devgn, born on 5th August 1974, is an Indian actress and model. She is daughter of Shomu and actress Tanuja Mukherjee and sister of actress Tanisha. She is married to actor Ajay Devgn and has two children Nysa and Yug.
Kajol made her debut in Hindi films when she was in school, in the year 1992 in a film Bekhudi. Her talent was recognized and she is considered to be the most talented actress of Hindi cinema.
After her debut in films she left her school and did some notable films like Baazigar, Yeh Dillagi, Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Ishq, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dushman, U Me Aur Hum, Raju Chacha, Fanaa, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and many more films.
Kajol’s films have been great hits and she has won six Filmfare awards for Best Actress and has also won the Padma Shri Award for her contribution to the Indian cinema.
Kajol has endorsed many brands and was a judge on reality show- Rock And Roll on Zee TV.
Kajol is a social activist and works for the upliftment of widows and poor children.
