The Paris attacks of November 13 have upended the campaign for next month's regional elections. While the Socialists were headed for a drubbing, President François Hollande's popularity ratings have rebounded, fuelling hope within the ruling party that it could limit its losses. But the tragic events also seem to favour the National Front, as the issue of radical Islam is once again taking centre stage.
