Babametot nga Gjirokastra rikthehen pas 70 vjetësh ne shtëpi. Janë larguar fëmijë nga banesa e tyre ne qytetin e gurte dhe kthehen te moshuar ne shtëpinë e restauruar, por ende plot kujtime. Adil dhe Merkur Babameto, dy nga trashëgimtaret e shtëpisë, kushërinj te Enver Hoxhes, tregojnë se nata e pare pas rikthimit ka qene prekëse. I larguar 14 vjeç nga Gjirokastra dhe i internuar ne fshatrat e Tiranës pas vrasjes se te atit ne periudhën e komunizmit, Adil Babameto sot 84 -vjeç ende mban mend kujtimet me gjyshen, qoshet e fshehta te shtëpisë dhe bisedat familjare. Ndërsa kushëriri i tij Merkur Babameto 85 vjeç, eshte kthyer nga Italia për te pare banesën e restauruar. Edhe pse për 20 vjet ka qene i burgosur ne Spaç, ai nuk fsheh krenarinë për origjinën e veçanërisht për gjyshin e tij, ish-kryetarin e bashkisë se Gjirokastrës Rasim Babameto, i arratisur ne SHBA.
