49 mije maturante ne te gjithë vendin i janë nënshtruar këtë te shtune provimit te pare te maturës shtetërore. Siç është bërë tradite këto testime nisin me lenden e Gjuhës Shqipe dhe Letërsisë. Provimi ka nisur ne orën 10 te paradites dhe vetëm dy ore ishte koha e vene ne dispozicion për nxënësit. Pas testimit, ata janë shprehur se provimi kishte 25 pyetje dhe ne pjesën me te madhe ishte i thjeshte. Ministri i arsimit nga ana tjetër ka deklaruar ne këtë dite, se provimet e maturës tashme kane krijuar standardin e tyre. Provimi i Gjuhës dhe Letërsisë, ishte ndare ne tri nivele vështirësie. Çelësi i përgjigjeve shpallet pasditen e dy qershorit, ndërsa rezultati i notes pas 10 ditësh. Maturantet nuk kane te drejte ankimimi pasi çdo test vlerësohet nga 4 grupe mësuesish. Këtë vit, provimet e maturës do te zhvillohen te shtunave për te shfrytëzuar edhe ambientet e universiteteve.
