Shume familje ne Puke jetojnë vetëm me ndihmën sociale qe përfitojnë nga bashkia apo pensione invaliditeti. Ata jetojnë mes skamjes ne disa magazina te përshtatura si banesa, mes dëborës qe ka mbërritur deri tek tarraca e shtëpisë. Nga rezervat e shtetit, për Bashkine e bllokuar janë dërguar vetëm 30 pako, por numri i familjeve qe jetojnë me ndihme ekonomike është 280. Autoritetet vendore janë ne pritje te ndihmave te tjera. Kryetari i Bashkise se Pukës, Beqir Arifaj, thotë për "Vizion Plus" se problematika kryesore është furnizimi me ujë i banoreve, pasi tubacionet ne një pjese te madhe janë ngrire. Por edhe me e rende është situata ne komunat e rrethit Puke. Kryetari i njësisë vendore te Fierzës shprehet se ka humbur krejtësisht kontaktet me disa familje, ku nuk ka jo vetëm rruge te hapura, por mungon energjia elektrike dhe telefoni. Drejt fundit janë edhe furnizimet me miell për furrat e bukës ne qytet. Por a mund te siguronin banoret ushqime për një periudhe te gjate, ne te cilën mbeten te izoluar?
