We are delighted to also confirm the sweet voice of Glen Washington, the specialist veteran of ‘ lovers style’ to the Sunsplash 2010 line-up . Glen began singing as a member of Joe Gibbs’ crew in the seventies while he was still young and continued his career as drummer for Joseph Hill’s Culture for many years.
His return as singer coincided with the major sales success of the Studio One’smasterpiece ‘Brother to brother’ where Glen rides some immortal rhythms fromthe mother label of reggae. The school of Studio One left this singer with a great instinct for love songs and in harmony with the great school of Jamaican musicians – this instinct is also reflected in his latest releases and amazing performances.
