Sunsplash has often included quality offerings from outside the reggae scene in it’s line-up. This year it’s time for the British band Morcheeba. Internationally famed for their mix of trip hop, soul and pop, the group was founded in the mid 1990s by brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey, originally from Folkestone.

The band which broke into the mainstream with the single “Rome wasn’t built in a day” in 2000 saw the remarkable performance of the singer Skye Edwards who left the band in 2005, sensationally returning for the lastest Album “Blood like lemonade” pusblished 7th June 2010. This new Album will be the basis for most of their show in Benicassim.
