Shaggy is one of the most famous Jamaican artists worldwide, the skill with which he managed to bring his dancehall and r & b to the top of the pop charts has won him an incredibly wide range of fans, without losing strong credibility among reggae lovers. His remarkable career began with the success of "Oh Carolina" in 1993, continuing with a number one in the United States with "Boombastic" in 1995 and selling six million copies of "Hot Shot" in 2000. With his latest work, "Out of Many, One Music", a collaboration with Sly & Robbie, Shaggy has stylistically returned to more traditional Jamaican music, making an album with more reggae influences than ever and singing duets with artists such as Damian Marley, Beres Hammond, Cocoa Tea, Tarrus Riley and Chronixx, among others.
