USA: Evo Morales Tells General Assembly that Capitalism is the Culprit

The United Nations General Assembly now meeting in New York City to discuss sustainable development is attended by over 160 heads of state, including many from Latin America. In his address, Bolivian President Evo Morales pointed the finger at capitalism as the culprit that is responsible for poverty and environmental destruction: “Capitalism plunders national resources and destroys the environment.
