Jawbone fitness trackers now also monitor your sleep, heart rate
  • 9 years ago
A new software update, announced on Tuesday means that the Up range of fitness trackers has caught up with the competition.
The Up2, Up3 and Up4 bands now automatically track owners' sleep thanks to the firmware update currently rolling out to the iOS and Android apps.
The upgrade also means that the Up3 and Up4 will be able to monitor heart rate - but only when asked.
As well as software, Jawbone is focusing on hardware.
It is launching a new, more subtly designed Up2 that will be easier and more comfortable for both men and women to wear.
What's more, the $100 device is now available in a choice of six new colours - violet, turquoise, black, grey, white and pink.
