A former cop in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested as the prime suspect in what's now being investigated as a grisly double murder.

Steven Zeilich, retired from the West Allis Wisconsin police in 2001, and works as a licensed security guard. He also runs a website doling out legal advice for a fee. But he also frequented bondage and S&M sites as well.

Investigators say one such site brought him into contact with 37 year-old Laura Simonson from Minnesota.

Simonson's family reported her missing in November of 2013, which is right around the time the pair met up.

June 5th, 2014. A Wisconsin DOT worker is mowing the grass alongside a road in Geneva, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. He finds two abandoned suitcases and calls the police, standard practice. When the police arrive and opened the case they found 2 bodies. Laura Simonson, and a 'Jane Doe'. Authorities put out a sketch hoping to generate leads on the second woman's identity.

Cops swarmed Zelich's apartment in West Allis, interviewing others in the building and removing several items from the site. Minnesota authorities are now involved, trying to figure out whether one or both women were actually killed in that state.
