In Argentina, a march is being organized a month after the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman. Critics are calling the march a political maneuver to destabilize the argentine government. In Haiti, 16 people were killed when a singer on a carnival float was electrocuted by a power line, setting off a stampede. Haitians held a remembrance demonstration on tuesday. In the United States, pro immigration rallies were held around the country yesterday in protest of a federal judge ordering the suspension of Obama's immigration measure which would defer deportation of around 4 million immigrants. In Syria, the government condemned the U.S.-backed coup attempt against the Venezuelan president, describing it as an attack on democracy.In Indonesia, the government accused Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott of threatening diplomatic ties after the handing down of a death penalty sentence to two Australian drug smugglers. Abbott referred to Australian aid given to Indonesia after the tragic tsunami in 2004.
