Indonesian President prays for families to be given "strength to face the disaster"

Overcome with grief they wait..

Gathered at a crisis center in Indonesia, families of passengers onboard the missing AirAsia flight struggle after news breaks that rescuers found wreckage and bodies off the coast of Borneo.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo offers what comfort he can.

(SOUNDBITE) (Bahasa Indonesia) INDONESIA PRESIDENT JOKO WIDODO SAYING:

"I feel deep loss over this disaster and pray for the families to be the given strength to face the disaster."

The AirAsia Flight vanished Sunday with 162 people on board.

The navy says 40 bodies have been recovered. The plane has yet to be found.
