ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION

A fire broke out at a bus terminal on the outskirts of Seoul on Monday (May 26), killing at least six people, a fire station official said.

The fire at the underground construction site of Goyang Bus Terminal started around 9:10 a.m. local (0010 GMT) and burned for about 20 minutes before fire fighters got it under control, officials added.

All of those injured were taken to nearby hospitals to receive treatment.

The fire station chief said the fire may have started during welding work being carried out inside the building. An investigation is underway to pinpoint the cause.
