Obama visits Great Wall

U.S. first lady Michelle Obama visited China's landmark Great Wall on Sunday (March 23) with her two daughters in Beijing.

They visited the Great Wall on Sunday afternoon after a roundtable meeting on the topic of education held at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing in the morning, part of her visit aimed at promoting education and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

As well as visiting Beijing, Obama will also go to the historic western city of Xi'an and the southern city of Chengdu, where she will see a panda reserve during her week-long trip.

She is due to leave China on Wednesday (March 26).
