Families meet long lost relatives in North Korea

The first of two groups of separated families reunited in North Korea Thursday.
Elderly South Koreans were accompanied by other family members as they traveled across the border into the North to meet long lost relatives, some of whom haven't seen each other since the 1950-53 Korean War.
One 91-year old man wept as he met up with his nieces living in the North.
I finally get to meet you after living this long, he sobbed.
The reunions were agreed upon between both countries after long negotiations.
They used to be held annually, but soured relations on the Korean peninsula in recent years have prevented the meetings... Last September the North canceled the meetings abruptly.
Two groups of a few hundred family members are participating in the reunions which are being held at a resort in the North, just over the border.
