ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

Tropical Storm Juliette blew through the Pacific Mexican tourist resorts of Los Cabos and La Paz early on Thursday (August 29), killing one man who was electrocuted.

Local emergency services reported about 1,650 people were given shelter overnight as the storm knocked down trees and caused electricity blackouts

Though they expect the worst of the storm to be over, local authorities were still checking the tourist state for damages.

Tropical Storm Juliette is expected to move west into the Pacific Ocean where it is predicted to weaken as it moves into cooler waters.
