01:19Down here, you can put your banner, or your photo, or your photo on your website.
01:27You can put it on your blog site.
01:30And down here, if you look at number three, you can put it on your USB stick.
01:37You can put it on your SD card, you can put it on a hard drive.
01:41You can even burn it onto a CD, if you wanted to do that.
01:44And you can run the website or blog site from that.
01:49Now, if you're watching my how to create an automatic book CD for your computer, this is like a bit of an upgrade to that.
01:58So, I'm going to be showing you how to create the content from absolutely nothing.
02:02So, if you're interested in creating HTML pages, nice, easy, simple.
02:07It's a case of copying and pasting code, that's all it is.
02:11Or, you get all of the code from this piece of software right here, thanks to Microsoft.
02:16Of course, they give you the ability to do that.
02:18And not only that, you need this little bit of software to create a book, if you want to do that.
02:23And, you can make it portable.
02:25So, yeah, anyway, there's nothing better than something that's portable, there's really not.
02:31That way, your internet, your whole internet site, is not stuck in one single place on the internet.
02:37It's up to you how you want to go about doing it.
02:39Anyway, today, we're not going into all that.
02:42We're going to be talking about the banner.
02:44So, we are going to do a little tiny bit of coding, just so you understand that.
02:47And, we will talk about that.
02:50And the reason why we're talking about the banner in the first place is down here.
02:53So, you choose your platform.
02:55Now, let's say you're doing laptops.
02:57You're doing PCs, which are basically the same thing.
03:01Then, of course, you've got tablets, you've got mobile phones, and you've got sofas, and so on, and so on.
03:06Of course, depending on the type of object, the type of gadget that you're advertising for.
03:12I'm just going to show you this.
03:14Depending on the type of object.
03:17Now, this is kind of the smallest banner that I've got.
03:21This will fit on virtually every single platform out there.
03:25So, it doesn't matter if it's a laptop, it doesn't matter if it's a computer, it doesn't matter what it is.
03:28I'll explain it to you in a moment.
03:30Okay, so anyway, choose your platform.
03:33It's important, really, because let's say I'm showing this object, this banner.
03:40It could be a car, a house.
03:42It could be a website.
03:43It could be a product you're trying to sell.
03:46It could be a link to some other website.
03:48It doesn't matter whatever it is.
03:51Obviously, you need to make sure that the device, the gadget that you're working on, can actually open the image.
03:59So, as I said, you need a universal image that works on every device.
04:04That's what you need.
04:05So, the images come in about four different formats.
04:09They come in JPEG, Bitmap, PNG, and Glyph Folder.
04:14Glyph Folder is an animation folder.
04:16I'll explain that to you as well in a moment.

04:20It says, it's an advertisement campaign.

04:26Now, you will see this campaign thing over here.
04:29It's all to do with the banner, and it's all to do with the website, and things like that.
04:34If you're looking to make a campaign, I'm not going to recommend that, because if you go to, let's suppose you went to Google.

04:47Okay, now, obviously, you can't share all the secrets of Google.

04:52I don't know all the secrets of Google.
04:54I'm saying, anyway, I wouldn't do that anyway.
04:56But what I am telling you, when you go to any website, it doesn't have to be Google, and you start a new campaign.
05:03Okay, the new campaigns, they cost you money.
05:07So, yeah, anyway, the whole point of this video is to want to show you how to link that to your webpage, how to connect it to a link,
05:22so it connects to an advertisement, so you can make some money, or so you can actually advertise a company inside your box.
05:34So let's suppose, now, let's suppose you've got a website, and let's say you have, like, it could be anybody.
05:40It could be YouTube, it could be Google, it could be Amazon, it doesn't matter.
05:43Of course, some websites offer you the banner itself already made.
05:48That's perfectly great if they do that.
05:50But don't forget the banner that they give you, you don't own the banner.
05:56It belongs to that company.
05:57So you have to watch what you do with it.
05:59But if you make your own banner, and then let's say I put on here, okay, this link goes to wherever it goes to.
06:07And now if I add a little bit of code to that, inside of the link, I can add an advertisement company to it inside the link.
06:18I'll explain the advertisement part in a moment, because that's probably what you'd want to learn, okay?
06:24Because you'd want to make some profit, you'd want to make some money.
06:27That's the whole point of it.
06:29Otherwise, you wouldn't even be doing this.
06:31You're not going to make a banner, put it on your website just to look at it.
06:33You're not going to really do that.
06:35And if you are, you might as well earn some money off it, because there's no point in putting it there always.
06:40Anyway, let's talk about it.

06:44You have to know how to right-click, how to left-click, how to copy, how to paste.

08:06It opens in MS PaintShop.
08:08Now, the only tools I use in here at the moment is MS PaintShop and Notepad.

08:22If it is absolutely massive, press this.
08:25Go to pixels, turn this off, and set your pixels to 32 and 32 if you want to.

08:35So we'll change this.
08:37We'll set this one to 34.
08:39So it's 34 by 34.
08:41You don't have to be a perfect square.
08:43I'm just going to make it a perfect square.
08:45Of course, you can have it longer.
08:47If you want a big, long banner, you can.

08:52If you want to make a new one, if you want to stretch it, just grab the little dot right there and just stretch it.

09:32So if I scale this down to 32, it's not going to really look correct.
