Gaia's wrath definitely surprised me with how strong the creatures from it are. But we manage to find a new ally and another one is thankfully saved.

00:00Hello and welcome back everybody.
00:03Today we will be seeing a good chunk of the other types of enemies in Gaia's Wrath and
00:07we will be getting more info on the parasites.
00:11So let's quickly get into it.
00:13We begin with level 1 robots investigating the Verdant Forest, but they get attacked
00:18by large birds that do 69% damage to them and seem to easily take care of them.
00:26Then we see Hollow's group watching as they see multiple other natural enemies get attacked
00:31by the giant creatures that live here.
00:34I do think it's funny seeing how happy Bast's is from all the flourishing life that's here,
00:41since in his world he may have never seen sites like this.
00:46They get culled over by a hidden Gaia's Wrath human who brings them back to his home.
00:51He introduces himself as Nukizumi and he lives in an abandoned village with his brother
00:56and grandmother.
00:58His brother comes back and Bast notices he is infected with a parasite, so decides on
01:04his own to inject him with medicine from his world.
01:09He explains he did the same thing to the king and that it won't kill the parasite, it'll
01:13just weaken it and slow down the process.
01:16We cut back over to Xabi's group and they deduce what happened to the king and that the curse
01:22was the reason the parasite didn't mature.
01:25So they are going to do a dangerous test on Xabi to poison him to near death to see if
01:30that will get the parasite in him to abandon his body.
01:34And it actually works in getting the parasite out.
01:37They quickly trap it in a magic cube and start to heal Xabi back.
01:42Going back to Hollow's group, Nuki's brother asks their group to take him with them since
01:47he is going to die soon and the grandmother doesn't have much time left either.
01:52With Hollow seeing parallels with his own brother, they agree to take him.
01:57After they get kicked out, Nuki shows them a bird his village trained and they can use
02:02it to get out of the forest.
02:04As they leave, we get to see the food chain of the forest in action, with a snake trying
02:09to eat them.
02:11But then it gets attacked by some birds, with one of them chasing after our guys.
02:16But then that bird gets eaten by a fish, letting them escape.
02:20Pakya sees his home and says that's where Gigatilla is.
02:24But they have to be careful since one of the sons of Gimbak, Gori, has claimed it as his
02:30home.
02:31The Spyro Mountain.
02:33With us finishing the chapter with the titans from this mountain taunting Jachi of all people.
02:39This is not going to go the way you think.
02:43So this chapter was mainly focusing on Gaia's wrath and that's the enemy we will be starting
02:48off with.
02:49The enemies we see from this world, this chapter, are giant ants that seem to be overwhelming
02:54the demon grunts, giant birds that easily crush level 1 robots, and even giant catfish
03:01who are eating the titans as well.
03:03And I have them in my mid-tier power Y, so I'm surprised they are having so much trouble.
03:09We also know that some of the animals have started to get infected with the parasites,
03:14since Nuki's brother said something bit him, giving him a parasite.
03:18And finally for them, the brother mentions the Great Lord's Nest, which I am guessing is
03:24the big boss of the forest, similar to the Demon Kings.
03:28And since he used the word nest, I am thinking it might be a bird, since the birds of the
03:33forest seem to be pretty high up in the food chain.
03:37And the other thing we found out this chapter is that the parasites can be weakened by curse,
03:43and can be expelled from the host with near death experiences.
03:47On the human side of things, our savior Xabi has been saved himself, through a great trial
03:52of pain.
03:53And now we know if any character does get infected, there is a chance they could be saved if they
03:59catch it early.
04:01But there is a caveat, since they do specify that Xabi has magic resistance, which may be
04:06why he was able to go through this trial.
04:09On Hollow's side of things, we learn more about Gaia's wrath humans, like that they are on the
04:15bottom of the food chain in the forest.
04:17And since they dig tunnels and have underground villages, the enemy they most likely fight
04:22the most are the ants that we saw.
04:25Which I could see them maybe fighting off a few if they have a whole village of people.
04:30We now also gained a new party member in Nuki, which can help them navigate and survive in
04:36the forest.
04:37Along with a flying mount to get them moving even faster.
04:41They're on their way to Spire Mountain and we will have to wait and see how they are going
04:45to deal with the titans there.
04:47And I will say a bit of a spoiler now.
04:50I am caught up to the series and even now, by chapter 25, we still have not come back to
04:57them yet.
04:58So this was a pretty good chapter all around.
