The World Health Organisation launched an urgent appeal for aid for Gaza on Sunday, as the conflict with Israel continues.
The UN's public health arm is trying to raise 7.8 million euros for medical supplies.
At the same time, Israel has allowed aid to enter Gaza, opening the Kerem Shalom border crossing for the first time since the latest outbreak of attacks.
