Radiation levels which would kill a person within 50 minutes have been detected inside the number one reactor at the Fukushima Power Plant. It is the highest reading to date.

The news comes as shareholders agreed to a proposal for a bailout of billions of euros of public funds. The move is seen as a key step in providing compensation for residents affected by the crisis.
