Police in Afghanistan say a suicide bomber has killed at least 20 people and wounded 50 more in the northern city of Taliqan. The provincial governor Abdul Jabar Taqwa said the bomber struck at a funeral procession. An MP, Abdul Mutalib, was reported to be among the dead.
