President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads the inspection of the installation of the Pasig-Marikina River Channel Improvement Project Phase IV in Marikina City. Led by the Department of Public Works and Highways in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the project aims to reduce flooding caused by the overflow of the Pasig and Marikina rivers.
Phase IV involves the construction of dikes and revetments, installation of floodgates and dredging channels to improve the flood management infrastructure of the National Capital Region, Malacañang said
