Dam officials on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, started to release water from Magat Dam in Isabela in anticipation of Tropical Depression ‘Maymay’, which is expected to bring rain to the province. National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Administrator Benny Antiporda said the NIA-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-MARIIS) opened one of the dam’s gates at 4:39 p.m.
