The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducts maritime patrol in Taal Lake on July 8, 2021. NDRRMC Executive Director and Civil Defense Administrator, Undersecretary Ricardo Jalad, and PCG Station Batangas Commander, Captain Geronimo Tuvilla, conducted an on-site inspection of the fish cages at Barangay Buso-buso and Barangay Banyaga in Laurel, Batangas. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has been warning local residents and concerned LGUs that an explosion is possible under Alert Level 3.
