Chinese chopper threatens PH aircraft with dangerous maneuver
Video shows a People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA Navy) helicopter, identified by tail number 68, coming within three meters of the port side of a Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) aircraft conducting a routine Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) flight over Bajo de Masinloc (Scarborough Shoal) in the West Philippine Sea on Feb. 18, 2025. According to Philippine authorities, the aggressive maneuver by PLA-Navy helicopter threatened the safety of the Philippine plane's pilots and passengers.
