00:06So this funding, when they've recruited the people they're talking about, it might make some difference at the margin.
00:12But fundamentally, without breaking that link, without people knowing there's no point spending thousands of pounds because they won't be able to stay in the UK, it won't make a difference.
00:20And it's the National Crime Agency itself who said you need to have a deterrent in place.
00:25Otherwise, you won't be able to stop these crossings. And the government's plans do not deliver that.
