Marcos off to India

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. departs for India for a state visit from August 4 to August 8, 2025. He is accompanied by first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.

The trip caps the year-long celebration of the 75th anniversary of Philippines–India diplomatic relations.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Education Secretary Sonny Angara and Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrad Estrella 3rd were named as government caretakers while the President is away.
