00:10Today, we'll be taking you all through a 20-minute full-body dumbbell strength workout.
00:15This is going to be a great workout that you can repeat to test your muscular strength and endurance.
00:19And all you'll need for this workout is a pair of dumbbells.
00:23If you're going heavier on the dumbbells, you can slow down that tempo today.
00:27And if you're using lighter weights, you can increase the pace, really make it work for you.
00:31For reference, I'll be using 15s and 10s.
00:34And I'll be using a pair of 20-pound dumbbells and a pair of 35-pound dumbbells.
00:38For the workout format, super simple.
00:40We're going to take you through eight combo exercises, and we're going to do them for two sets.
00:44We're going 45 seconds of work, 20 seconds of rest.
00:47But we're going to split up that 45 seconds into three segments.
00:51For the first segment, we're going 20 seconds of a bilateral movement, meaning two arms or two legs.
00:55We'll give you a five-second pause, and then we'll finish with a unilateral movement, meaning alternating for the last 20 seconds.
01:02So, for example, if we're doing a bent-over row, we'll use two arms for that bent-over row.
01:07And for the second 20 seconds, we'll go alternating with the bent-over row.
01:10We'll follow this format all the way throughout the workout.
01:13And in between the two sets, we'll give you a long 60-second break.
01:16So, be sure to go as hard as you can for each exercise.
01:19And be sure to stick around to the end, where we'll take you through a nice little core cool-down finisher.
01:23And throughout the workout, there's going to be a few exercises that have modifications.
