00:00Everybody is in camp. Hooray! But everybody's not happy being in camp. Yesterday, Adam Schefter
00:04tweeted out mid-afternoon after Trey Hendrickson officially ended his holdout today, he spoke to
00:09reporters and summed up the state of negotiations with the Bengals. Things are exactly the same,
00:14in quotes, he said. So that means they're probably not talking to him. He wants more money. They're
00:19saying you make a good amount of money. Come to camp. We'll keep fining you. Now you're in camp.
00:24You're not getting fined. That's not going to spur things. But at least Trey Hendrickson
00:26is the bigger man showing up. They showed yesterday the video of him being at practice.
00:30He's not in pads at all. He's just wearing like, you know, T-shirt shorts at this point, walking
00:34around, getting to know the fellas again, getting back into the mix. But I wonder when he starts
00:38to put the pads on. Because sooner than later, Joe, you can show up to camp. But what's the
00:43point of showing up to camp and just walking around and not getting your workouts in?
00:47Well, yeah, I mean, at some point. But again, we haven't even really started preseason games
00:53for them. Even then, I'm not sure how much he would have played anyway in the preseason outside
00:59of the customary couple of snaps here or there. But listen, I think just his presence for the time
01:05being is a good look. And I think it's heading in the positive direction. Ultimately, listen,
01:12we talked about it, Donnie. You've got to be out of your mind. This is a guy that is, you know,
01:1617 and a half sacks over the last couple of seasons, leading the NFL each year. You've got
01:22to be out of your mind not wanting to lock this guy up here because it doesn't do you any bit of
01:28good. And I think Joe Burrow, if I'm Joe Burrow, am I not walking in to the office and being like,
01:34guys, listen, can we please get Henderson signed and locked up here? That would be great moving
01:41forward. So at least the defense, I don't have to worry about scoring 42 points a game or more to
01:46actually have to win anything.
