Next has upped its annual sales and profit outlook once again after better-than-expected trading thanks to hot weather and disruption at cyber attack struck rival Marks & Spencer.

00:04The high street retailer Next has increased its annual outlook once again,
00:09as it saw better than expected trading thanks to hot weather
00:12and the disruption caused by the cyber attack at its rival Marks & Spencer.
00:18The women's wear and homes wear chain posted a 10.5% rise in full price sales
00:24the second quarter to July 26, with growth of 10.9% for half-year as a whole.
00:31In the UK, sales jumped by 7.8% in the second quarter,
00:36as the group said it was boosted by better than expected weather
00:39and a trading disruption at a major competitor.
00:43M&S had to suspend online trading for nearly two months from mid-April
00:47after it was hit by a major cyber attack.
