00:00Do you think, Freddie, that Swinney and Starmer had this conversation when they were in Scotland?
00:04It seems very hot on the foot of that visit.
00:06Maybe Trump had an influence because, as we know, the U.S. have boycotted the two-state UN meeting that's been taking place in New York.
00:13So was there maybe a conversation that went on in Turnberry that was about this?
00:17I think they were very keen to push Donald Trump to make a statement about the suffering of the people in Palestine.
00:24I think that what he did say, that it was horrible to see images of starving children, and that has been turned into a shift from Donald Trump.
00:34But if you listen to what he said in the round, he was still very much focusing on Israeli hostages.
00:40He was careful not to say anything too critical of Israel.
00:43And so Trump didn't really shift, but he gave them the quote that enabled them to say Trumpers or feel that Trump has shifted his position.
00:51And therefore, America is a bit more on side than it was.
00:55I think they might have been overspinning that a little bit.
00:58But certainly they got what they wanted because they did want Trump to appear to be on board so that they could shift their own position in favor of Palestine.
