🥊 Oleksandr Usyk delivered another clinic at Wembley — dominant footwork, razor-sharp counter-punching, and a brutal fifth-round KO that reclaims the undisputed heavyweight crown.

In this breakdown:

🥊 Usyk’s precision: Brilliant movement, masterful counters off the back foot, and that killer left hook nicknamed “Ivan” that ended the fight in style.

💥 Dubois’ effort and early moments: While he landed big early and showed grit, he was ultimately outmaneuvered and picked apart as Usyk walked him down.

📊 Legacy cemented at 38: Usyk looks unstoppable—becoming only the second man ever to be a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion in three-belt era, and proving age is just a number.

This fight was technical brilliance blended with raw punching power. Usyk moved like a cruiserweight and struck like a heavyweight—proof that he remains the pound-for-pound king.

00:00Oleksandr Usyk once again establishing that he is one of the best, not only in the heavyweight
00:06division, not only of his generation, but we're getting into one of the more skilled boxers
00:12in the history of this sport. Let's talk about what we saw from Oleksandr Usyk against Dubois
00:18out at Wembley. Oleksandr Usyk is at or near the top of every pound-for-pound ranking and he showed
00:32why, even though those were kind of made, basically to say like, okay, if everyone was the same size,
00:37who would win? And that tends to take away from the heavyweights? You're not taking away from this
00:42guy. Oleksandr Usyk with a complete performance, knocking out Dubois out at Wembley. This
00:48was brilliance, right from the word go with Usyk. His counter-punching and ability to land on the
00:54back foot was spectacular. Dubois, we talked about it coming in, you have to be perfect against this
01:01guy for 36 minutes if you are going to be successful in beating him and once again becoming
01:08the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. And he was, he was perfect. As Dubois is coming
01:14forward, it's quick counter-punching and it is, it's counter-punching while you're going back and
01:18that's really difficult to do. Like, if you're driving right now, don't. But at a spare moment,
01:23just see how hard you can punch while you're backing up. It's not a lot, but he was still able
01:28to do that very effectively as Dubois is landing. So he is having to take some very big shots and still
01:35be able to fire back while on the back foot. To be able to do that impactfully was very impressive
01:41from him. And again, you would see his footwork and the brilliance that he could put on. Like,
01:47I know we are using a lot of very hyperbolic statements. There is no hyperbole in this. What
01:53we saw at Wembley Stadium was nothing short of brilliance from Oleksandr Usyk. And you see it at
01:59the end with the knockout shot that he lands. Yes, we're talking about someone who's maybe not all the
02:04way there in Dubois at this point, but he is still thrown. He is still bringing it and still
02:08like relatively effectively, but he comes in and it is just like, it's one thing I've said when I've
02:13been able to do boxing commentary and other things like that. You don't get points if the other person
02:21misses by a lot. You actually get more effective if they only just miss by a little bit, because then
02:28you are right there to take advantage. And that's what it was. It was excellent footwork to stay out of
02:33the way of Dubois while he comes in with a big shot, and then to be right there to be able to
02:38land that left from hell and send Dubois to the canvas for the final time. So again, just technical
02:44brilliance from Oleksandr Usyk. Don't forget, wherever you are tuning in here on Couch Potato
02:52Diary, whether it's a follow button, a subscribe button, or anything else that lets you keep it locked

03:02watching on YouTube later on, yeah, hit that subscribe button, or hit the notification bell,
03:08so you know when the next stuff is coming from Couch Potato Diary. So overall, a fantastic performance
03:13from Oleksandr Usyk. Dubois has power, and he lands early, and then Usyk is able to counter him,
03:21push forward, and get the stop. And so this is the next level of it, right? Because, like,
03:28to be able to outbox Tyson Fury for 72 rounds is, or not 72 rounds, Jesus, for 24 rounds is really
03:38impressive at the heavyweight division, because no one has really been able to do that. And to
03:42beat Joshua the way he has, very impressive. And then to take it to Dubois, to be able to come
03:49forward, to be the guy, being like, you know what? Like, you're very good. Second best heavyweight in
03:53the world right now, no doubt. I'm gonna walk you down. I'm gonna whoop that ass. That was so
03:58impressive, and it was that kind of killer instinct that shows, like, okay, he has, he passes the test
04:04of the KO power of this guy. He's not just on his back foot waiting to counter. He is pushing forward,
04:08dictating the pace. He is outboxing boxers. He is outpowering power punchers. We are genuinely
04:14talking about one of the best boxers this sport has seen, certainly at the heavyweight division.
04:21Now, we're not gonna go, like, it is, obviously heavyweight boxing has had a lot of big moments,
04:26um, and a lot of big fighters. And this is a good era for heavyweight boxing. It's not
04:32Muhammad Ali, Sonny Liston, George Foreman, all those guys, right? But this isn't Klitschko and
04:37dude on the couch. This is a real legitimate era of heavyweight boxing, and he is moving up from
04:43cruiserweight and dominating all of it. So, like, is he a Mount Rushmore heavyweight? Probably not.
04:49But he does need to be talked about as one of the most talented fighters we have ever seen in the
04:56sport of boxing, regardless of weight class. And maybe we should have expected, or maybe I should
05:01have bought onto that a little bit earlier than I did. Obviously, like, I have talked about him
05:05and how incredible I think his talent is for a very long time now, but I haven't talked about it in
05:10this kind of generational way yet. And that is what is left to talk about with him because of how good
05:15he is, and then to be able to walk this guy down and finish it off, it is just so impressive. The
05:20problem is now, doesn't leave you with a whole lot else to kind of sell. This was kind of the last big
05:25one to do in the heavyweight division. So, we will see now what the next big fight is for Oleksandr
05:32Usyk, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I will certainly be there watching.
05:37Do you know what laudering?
05:53YESSSS!
