00:00First, you got a little cotter pin that needs pulled. One thing about working on old bikes is
00:04everything's old. Pretty corroded and crusty. Oh, come on. Hey, there we go. Now it's off.
00:09Throw that on the ground so we can pop a tire with it later. 22 millimeter impact socket and
00:14big yellow. Then we're just gonna break the axle nut loose. Axle is held in place with a couple of
00:20pinch bolts. These shouldn't be torqued super tight. Remember when I said these didn't need
00:24to be super tight? That's probably too tight. It is your front wheel. Get the compulsion to just
00:28make these horse tight. But the thing that's holding the front wheel on is the axle nut on
00:33the other side. These are literally just pinching the axle so that it doesn't rotate and try to
00:37loosen the bolt on the other side. All right, so that's out. Ah, like butter. That fender washer
00:43that just fell out of there is not a stock Yamaha piece. That's a Ace Hardware piece. Maybe not
00:48advisable, but it's what's here. Pro tip. And if you want people to tell you you look dumb on the
00:53internet, try and restore an old dirt bike. It works wonders. It's my treatise on YouTube commenter.
