00:10revealed that he told Disney he wants to make more Avatar stories using animation.
00:15He recalled his conversation with Disney while speaking to Empire Magazine.
00:19I said, look, I want to do an animated anthology series that's essentially in the world,
00:24but stories that you wouldn't have expected from that world.
00:26There might even be an animated feature in there.
00:28It might be a feature for streaming or a theatrical feature.
00:32Cameron went on to note that great examples for his idea include the Animatrix,
00:36because, quote, they went to field in the Matrix world.
00:39The Oscar winner continued, we haven't done much with that yet.
00:42We're still gathering our stories and that sort of thing.
00:45I've got to find the boutique filmmakers, the animators that want to do it.
00:48Cameron's third Avatar film, Avatar Fire and Ash, is set to be released in theaters on December 19th,
00:54and the first trailer for it dropped Monday.
