00:18Mabuti naman, mabuti naman. Excited para sa sauna ng ating paulo.

00:22Sir, para sa kalaman po ng publiko, kaka-appoint nyo lamang po bilang Acting Secretary ng Presidential Communications Office.

00:32So, maaari nyo bang ibahagi sa amin kung ano yung magiging prioridad ninyo bilang kalihim ng Presidential Communications Office?

00:40Well, Joey, tulad nung nasabi ko nung unang interview, pagpag-upo ko mga two weeks ago,

00:47ang priority ko yung tinatawag kong three piece minus one.

00:52Ito yung pag-communicate at pag-socialize ng mga programa at proyekto ng pamulo, minus the politics.

00:59So, three piece minus one.

01:02Napulong yun na po ba yung mga ahensya na nasa ilalim po ng PCO?

01:05Dahil marami-rami rin po yan. Kasama na po dyan ng PTV, of course, aga pang mga agencies.

01:10Yes, Angelique, ang priority ko talaga muna is i-meet yung mga makilala yung mga official natin sa PCO.

01:18At yun naman yung ginawa natin ng nakaraang dalawang linggo.

01:22Sa susunod na linggo, yung mga attached agencies na PCO naman yung nadalawi natin at magpapabrief tayo sa kanila.

01:29Siyempre, alinsunod din sa tago-bili ng ating Pangulo yung digitalization or digital transformation.

01:37So, isa sa mga concerns natin yan, paano nyo po isusunong yung digital transformation?

01:42At isa pang issue ngayon is, well, perennial problem naman din yung press freedom

01:47o yung pag-pertail sa rights ng mga mamamahayag?

01:52So, ano po ang plano nyo doon, SECD?

01:53Tama, Joey. I think ang priority namin talaga is to advance digital transformation within PCO

02:00by expanding the digital footprint of not only of the PCO, the office of the president, but the entire government.

02:08So, alam naman natin yung mga audience natin, karamihan dyan, digital publics na eh.

02:15So, we have to reach more of them through digital transformation by expanding the digital footprint of this administration.

02:23Bukod po sa digital transformation, ano po ang problema ang naisipong ihatib o isulong

02:29para po magkaroon tayo ng transparency sa paghahatib po ng informasyon at malabanan din po yung mga fake news?

02:36Totoo, Adelik. Yung pa rin ang priority ng PCO, no? Labanan yung mga fake news by just presenting facts and responding to misinformation, no?

02:46I think yun ang priority namin ngayon. Hindi tayo makikipaglabang ng fake news laban sa fake news.

02:53Yung fake news, lalabanan natin ng tunay na data, ng tunay na facts.

02:57We will present them the facts so that we can combat misinformation.

03:00Alam naman natin, Sec Dave, na nagkaroon ng bagyo ng sama ng panahon last week,

03:07but we still have to prepare for the State of the Nation address dahil constitutional duty ito ng ating Panguno.

03:14So, ano po yung naging paghahanda ng Presidential Communications Office para maipaalam sa ating mga kababayan

03:21ang paparating nasona ng ating Panguno?

03:24Ah, yung Presidential Communications Office hindi naman nagkulang para ipahatid sa ating mga kababayan yung nalalapit na zona, no?

03:33Alam natin, constitutional mandate yan, no?

03:35That the President has to deliver the State of the Nation address every 4th Monday of July, no?

03:42Ah, medyo ano lang ah, hindi tayo pinalad last week at inabot tayo ng sunod-sunod na masamang panahon.

03:52Pero hindi ibig sabihin nun, ititigil kami sa pag-informa sa publiko na ngayong lunes, in a few hours,

04:00mag-uulat na ang Pangulo sa ating bayan.

04:02Ah, this will be his 4th State of the Nation address and this will signal the start of the second half of his term, di ba?

04:11Midway na tayo, kumbaga sa basketball, ito na yung second half.

04:14Ito na yung ano, yung crucial second half of the ballgame.

04:17Ang pakalaking nga hamon, Secretary, mabagatid ng tamang informasyon, lalong-lalong na sa ating mga kababayan,

04:26doon sa grassroot na grassroot levels.

04:28Ano pa ang asahan ng taong bayan sa PCO para mapagpagatid tayo ng tamang informasyon sa kanil na mula sa gobyerno?

04:35Siguro ang importante sa amin sa PCO ay palakasin yung ating grassroots communications, no?

04:40Ah, andyan naman yung infrastructure natin sa PIA, sa PNA, sa PTV4, no?

04:48Ah, ang importante lang, ah, we deliver timely and relevant information to the people,

04:54especially in the grassroots era.

04:56Hindi tayo dapat maging NCR-centric, kumbaga, or Metro Manila-centric,

05:01but yung balita maipakalat natin sa buong bansa.
