00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. gave a speech to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, who passed away at the age of 100.

00:08In a speech, President Marcos Jr. portrayed Carter as a humanitarian who built houses for the homeless and fought for the human rights of those in need.

00:23He also helped the former President build peace in places that were destroyed by war and poverty.

00:32President Marcos Jr. also added that Carter fought for the rights of all Filipinos who serve as the foundation of a better society.

00:44In the end, President Marcos Jr. portrayed Carter as a model of power to do good that is pushed not only by politics or self-interest but also by true love for fellow Filipinos.
