00:38We continue to protect the sovereignty of the Republic.

00:46And we continue to protect and defend the people of the Republic.

01:35Pero ang pamahalaan hindi nagpapatinag.

01:38Ang tropang Pilipino, tiniyak ang pagprotekta sa teritoryo ng Pilipinas.

01:46You are endangering the relationship of our country.

01:51Ang mga hapbang na ito ay nakaangkla sa international law.

01:56Sa ilalim ng kasalukuyang administrasyon,

01:59patuloy ang pag-iit sa 2016 arbitral ruling

02:02na kinikilala rin ng maraming bansa.

02:04One of the best and the greatest impact of the transparency initiative

02:09that we have been doing for almost two years already,

02:12the international community became aware of what's happening

02:16and the violation of the Chinese government

02:19with regard to our own exclusive economic zone.

02:24So these transparency efforts made everybody realize

02:28that they need to recognize the 2016 arbitral award.

02:32It is a historical landmark that could be referred to in the years to come.

02:38As a statement of support by the international body,

02:41the United Nations recognizing international law.

02:45This will impact into not only the maritime claims of the Philippines,

02:49but all other maritime countries around the world.

03:03As if we were mere pawns with no strategic agency of our own.

03:10In that spirit, I would like to reiterate

03:13that the Philippine position on the West Philippine Sea

03:17is not a function of Sino-American strategic rivalry.

03:22Instead, it is caused, no doubt,

03:26by the overreach of the Chinese Communist Party.

03:33at isinagawa noong huling linggo ng Hunyo,

03:3673% ng 1,200 respondents o 7 sa 10 Pinoy

03:41ay naniniwalang dapat ituloy ng kasulukuyang administrasyon
