00:00The National Security Council reiterated that our countrymen are free to fish in the West Philippine Sea.

00:06NSC Assistant Director General Jonathan Malaya announced this

00:10after the fishermen in the Northern Palawan Fishermen's Congress

00:14were given the authority to carry out the Chinese moratorium.

00:19He explained to the National Security Council that no other country

00:23can enforce regulations within our territory.

00:27Malaya also added that our troops are watching over our fishermen

00:32to ensure their safety.

00:36We said to the National Security Council

00:39that no other country can enforce regulations within our territory

00:46but the Philippine government alone.

00:49China has no right to impose any regulations on fishermen.

00:54We assure them of the support of the Philippine government

00:57if they are there and fishing.
