01:15It's awkward when a U.S. president comes off a flight and you've called them a racist, misogynist and a xenophobe.

01:21Well, look, the bottom line here is it's really important for that special relationship.

01:25It dates back many, many years for us to be nurturing that because it's in our national interest to do so.

01:30We're the closest of allies on defence, on security, on trade and culture and history.

01:34And we've got to respect that and we've got to make sure that we're nurturing that and taking that into the future.

01:38This private visit is a rare public spectacle on Scotland's Ayrshire coast.

01:44Presidential vehicles were flown in specially for the occasion.

01:51If Trump's convoy moved easily towards Turnberry Golf Course, it was the only thing.
