00:00Over the past few weeks, this new party has been, shall we say, struggling to get itself launched.
00:05Well, they've had a lot of sign-ups, more than the Green Party.
00:08The Green Party has a huge history. You know, we've been going 50 years, we've been incredibly...
00:13And in 48 hours or however long, they've got a lot more sign-ups.
00:17Well, nobody's had to pay them any money in order to sign up.
00:20And, you know, anybody who's run an online petition knows there's a difference between getting sign-ups for something like that and forming a new party.
00:27The history of forming new parties in the UK isn't exactly littered with success.
00:31I would say to anyone who wants a party that stands up firmly for social, economic and environmental justice,
00:38the Green Party is here already. We're winning elections already.
00:42And we welcome people to join us because we are an effective political electoral force.
