00:00Hey everyone welcome back. Today's video is one I wish I did not have to make.
00:06A 9 year old child has died following a tragic incident at Hershey Park's water attraction.
00:12The boardwalk is a story that's shaken the community and it deserves our attention,
00:19our sympathy, our empathy and our reflection. On July 24th, lifeguards at the boardwalk
00:29noticed a child in distress. They immediately performed a rescue followed by coordinated
00:36life-saving efforts from first responders and medical personnel. The child was rushed to Milton
00:42S. Hershey Medical Center but was sadly pronounced dead. The exact cause of death hasn't been released
00:50and out of respect the child's identity remains private.
00:53CEO John Lon issued a heartfelt statement. Our hearts break for this child and the child's family.
01:04We extend our deepest condolences for their loss. He emphasizes that gas safety is the park's highest
01:13priority and promised a full internal review and coordination with authorities. The story hit me
01:20hard. Theme parks are supposed to be places of joy, laughter and escape. To think that a family's day
01:29ended in unimaginable grief is devastating. It made me reflect on how fragile life is and how quickly
01:37joy can turn into tragedy. As someone who values emotional storytelling, I believe this moment calls
01:46for more than just sympathy. It calls for action. That's all for today's video. Thanks for watching and goodbye.
