00:00Hello, this is E-Soup, aka Specific Soup, and this is part of a new series I'm doing

00:08called Things My Girlfriend Asks Me To React To.

00:12Now, really, the first one in this series was I Heart You by Marina.

00:19This is This Is For by Twice, and I was going to react to this anyway, but just out of the

00:25blue, my girlfriend was like, hey, this is something you should react to, like, the new

00:30video is really fun.

00:32So she jokingly said I should start a series of, like, things that she tells me to react

00:37to, and I was just like, why not?

00:40So I'm just going to keep on taking her suggestions and have a little, um, aside.

00:47Our music tastes frequently align, so it might not be that different from stuff I would react

00:53to anyway, but just putting that out there.

00:55Also, I've made a few community posts about this, so my subscribers might have seen that,

01:02but if you're just, if you just occasionally watch me, you're not subscribed, whatever,

01:07um, you might not know, but I deal with, I don't know what it is exactly, but some kind

01:12of thing that causes, like, chronic fatigue, and sometimes it's worse, and sometimes it's

01:17better, and just between some, like, medication changes and other stuff, over the past few

01:24months, I've, like, run out of a lot of steam when it comes to editing videos, so I've been

01:31continuing to do live streams.

01:34Um, I do live streams where I read Don May novels, and that has been something that I've

01:40been able to keep up doing, but I have really struggled to keep up with video editing, um,

01:46and to some extent recording new reactions, uh, recently, and so that's why you're not

01:52seeing as much stuff from me, you're not seeing as many TV show reactions, if you tune in for

01:56those, and you're seeing a few music reactions, but really not very many.

02:01I just kind of fell off with that because I have been so fatigued, and it mostly makes it

02:10more difficult to edit videos.

02:12Because I get really tired and just sort of have trouble, um, concentrating when I'm editing

02:17videos, and then there is an element of it that makes it a little bit harder to react

02:22to things, just to film a reaction in the first place.

02:26But I was excited about the song, and I wanted to do this, and I'm also just putting this

02:31out there to say that I'm really working hard on trying to, you know, get back on editing

02:36videos and actually releasing all the reactions that I have just, you know, sitting in my computer

02:44waiting to be edited.

02:46I haven't just, like, disappeared off the face of planet YouTube, but I'm just very slowly

02:53working through all that.

02:55So if I have any video where I'm like, you know, oh, what else should I react to?

02:59And you make a comment, and you don't see anything for, like, months.

03:04I'm so sorry, but that is why.

03:06But I'm really working hard to get back on some sort of schedule of things.

03:11With that out of the way, I am going to react to This Is 4 by TWICE.

03:17Really excited to see this.

03:18Oh, I should add that, um, I saw K-pop Demon Hunters.

03:23Um, I love that three of the TWICE members are in it.

03:26I feel really bad because I know Jung Yoon, and I guess if I have a bias in TWICE, then,

03:31like, she's my bias.

03:32But I cannot remember.

03:34It was Chaeon and one other person, and they sang that one song in the K-pop Demon Hunters

03:41soundtrack.

03:43I feel so bad, I cannot remember who it was.

03:46But I loved it.

03:47I loved all the songs in that movie.

03:49Their song was great.

03:50But yeah, so I've known TWICE for a while.

03:54When I got really, like, into K-pop, um, it was really because my girlfriend showed me

03:59a few things.

04:00And I remember one of the videos that we would watch all the time was TT by TWICE.

04:05Uh, so this was, gosh, 2017 or something like that?

04:09I'd have to check when that song came out because I might be a little bit early.

04:14But I think, and the song might have come out before then too.

04:17I can't remember.

04:18But anyway, so TWICE, like, I heard some K-pop when I was in high school, and I had a few

04:23songs I was into, but broadly, I was, like, not into K-pop until my girlfriend showed

04:29me a few things, and I was like, oh, I get it now.

04:32So TWICE is, like, one of, one of the groups where I was like, oh, K-pop, I get the K-pop

04:38thing now.

04:39So yeah, I've been following them for a long time.

04:41I've said this in videos before.

04:43I know people want you to always know everybody's names.

04:46I'm really terrible with names and bands, and it doesn't matter that I've been following

04:49them a long time, I don't know if I'm ever going to remember everybody in TWICE.

04:54That's just the way my brain is with bands and groups and whatever that I like.

04:59I don't often have, like, I don't know, the bandwidth to remember all the names.

05:05So there will be some notable people to me, just for whatever reason, I'm like, oh, I

05:09like this person's voice, or I like this person's look in this one video, and then I remember

05:13them.

05:14And then I just, my brain is like, sorry, we're not remembering the rest of them.

05:18So if you're like, why have you known TWICE for so long, and you, like, don't know all

05:21their names, like, I'm sorry, but this is not unique to me with TWICE, this is not unique

05:26to me with K-pop, this is just how I am with bands.

05:30I, like, frequently do not remember things like this, because my memory isn't good, and

05:35then I have, like, fatigue and all this stuff, and it's like, you know, it's something that's

05:39like, okay, this is already hard for me, I'm not going to push myself that much.

05:44So, with some groups, if they're smaller, and I've been doing a few reactions to them,

05:50I've decided to try to remember everybody's name, but in certain cases, I'm just not going

05:55to be able to do it, and, like, I just, I just need everybody to understand that it's

06:01not a personal affront, you know, because you might memorize every single name of everybody,

06:08and you might know things about everybody in your favorite groups, and I just can't really

06:12do that, you know, and I'm sorry, that's just how it is.

06:16Anyway, finally, I'm actually reacting to This is 4 by TWICE.

07:40groups will do this thing where it's like, oh, this member is bigger, or, like, oh, this

07:44member gained weight.

07:45We have to, like, cover you more.

07:46Because she's not totally covered up, but she's wearing noticeably different outfits,

07:54or, like, noticeably different tops from everybody else.

07:57Don't think I'm not noticing that.

07:58I don't think it's, I don't think it's as egregious as, um, the strategy video, but they're still,
