00:00Three-second knockout, that is just insane against Perez back in BKFC 78 in
00:05Hollywood a couple weeks ago.
00:07I mean, were you just so wound up from not getting to fight for so long that you
00:11wanted to get off quick?
00:12What was it?
00:13Was it a plan to attack him that fast?
00:15How'd this go down?
00:17Oh, man, I had to make a statement, man.
00:19I told him from the beginning I was coming to mop the floor with the 205 division,
00:23man, and I was able to really perform and show that to the world instead of being
00:28able to tell you guys.
00:30And like I said, man, this is only the beginning.
00:32Imagine, this has been the longest camp I've ever had.
00:34Six weeks?
00:35Oh, man.
00:36And then not only that, I was able to really start giving back to the community.
00:40So I had the kids' support from this.
00:42You know, everybody that was able to really afford the gyms and all that.
00:45I've created a program called Training in the Park, free to the public,
00:48learning the basics.
00:49I figured it was a way to help keep me engaged and with my cardio and with as
00:54far as like being active.
00:56And it was phenomenal, man.
00:58The support that I had gotten.
01:00And it's just that fire, man, that just makes you want to fight for something else.
01:04It was like there's nothing else like it, man.
01:06Just goosebumps.
01:07And I felt the support from my people, man, going in there.
01:10And there was no way I was coming out there losing, man.
01:13You guys were going to have to keep carrying me out on my shield.
01:15But I told them I'm coming for that fight of the night or that knockout of the night.
01:19Man, man, oh man, it was so good to get in there, man.
01:24It was way too long for sure.
01:27I'm sure it did.
01:28Especially, you know, getting a quick night like that.
01:30A guy doesn't even get a chance to hit you.
01:32Although, you know, a guy like you, I'm sure you wanted to get a few shots in
01:35to make sure you're still feeling good so you kind of were disappointed
01:38because you're nuts like that where you want to take some shots too.
01:41You want to actually mix it up in there.
01:43But great performance.
01:44I was ready for a while.
01:45Once you got that first shot that dropped him in the second one on the way down,
01:48just for good measure.
01:49Did you know that was over right away?
01:51Did you see it in his eyes?
01:52He wasn't getting back up.
01:53Man, when I felt it, actually when I went in with the southpaw charging,
01:59because I knew since here was the southpaw,
02:00nobody's ever really took consideration of like my orthodox
02:04and my southpaw stance.
02:06Because I like to switch around in between both of them.
02:08So now that I felt a lot more comfortable with my hips being open,
02:11I was able to really utilize that front southpaw stepping, man.
02:15Oh, it felt so good, man.
02:18Because I feel more technical on my southpaw.
02:20And I was really able to showcase that, man.
02:23Because there was times when he swung at me and I knew that right hook was coming.
02:26So I just doubled up on that jab.
02:28And man, it was that shield that got me to move in.
02:31And then I snuck it on that left coming in.
02:35And I just felt I was in position to release that right.
02:38That southpaw hook, man.
02:39That front hook.
02:40And it felt so good.
02:41When I just felt his body kind of go limp.
02:44That's when I was like, because I was scared going in there.
02:46I'm not going to lie to you guys.
02:47I was scared going in there.
02:48Like I knew this was going to be a good battle.
02:50If he was able to let some shots off.
02:52But I didn't know I was able to have that much power.
02:54I knew there was going to be a little bit difference of my power.
02:57Because I felt more open with my hips.
02:59But man, when I let that first hook go.
03:02And then I just saw everything go limp.
03:04And I was like, whoa, wait.
03:05In my mind, I was able to think and process.
03:07And if I let him get back up, he's going to get back up.
03:10I was like, let me finish this right now.
03:12And I caught him with that left hook.
03:14And then I caught him again with that right hook.
03:15Just to make sure the job was done.
03:16Because I was calculating.
03:18His hands wasn't touching the ground.
03:19And his knees weren't touching the ground.
03:21But I know he was still going down.
03:22But to make sure he wasn't getting back up on.
03:24I had to let those last two off, man.
03:27Well, you certainly did that.
03:29There was no chance after those two punches that he was getting back off that mat.
03:32One of the fastest knockouts in the history of combat sports.
03:35Three seconds is just insane to even fathom that's how quick you got the finish.
03:39But you did.
03:40And afterwards, you had a message for someone else in that division.
03:43Of course, you know, you feel that good.
03:45You're going to look to the top there.
03:46And you certainly did that as we see in the post fight interview.
03:50Listen, listen.
03:51Chris Camozzi.
03:54Oh, yeah.
03:55You know what time it is.
03:57I told you before, Player Pim.
03:59I'm coming.
04:00I'm coming.
04:01And there ain't nothing you can do to stop it.
