A Chinese Long March 3B rocket launched the Tianwen-2 spacecraft from Xichang spaceport in southwestern China.
The probe will attempt to collect samples from asteroid 2016 HO3 and if all goes well will have the opportunity to study comet 311P/PANSTARRS around 2035.
