Cory Michael Smith and Ramy Youssef roast each other's performances in "Mountainhead" in the most hatefully loving way.

00:00I was wondering what you guys learned from each other while you were working on this and if it
00:08impacted your performance in the movie in any way. I want to answer this first.
00:16I'm going to answer this first because these three guys are incredible actors and comedians.
00:22It was honestly such a dream to be part of this. This guy is so fun to play off of and he had like
00:29the spiciest lines and takedowns and they were infuriating in a great way. It was just so easy
00:37for him to be cruel on and off screen and that was a pleasure and enlivening to work with.
00:43And this guy, the choices he makes, incredibly inspiring and very fun to play off of.
00:4930% of them worked. Yeah, but those are the only ones that end up in the movie.
00:52So there's definitely a lot on the cutting room floor of him that is unusable, but it did help
00:58get to the parts that were used. And I thought that was actually a really interesting
01:02way to work. I kind of, I think learned from Corey, just kind of this bravery, you know,
01:08to kind of just completely fail consistently, but then almost kind of find these, these little
01:15rough nuggets. And it reminded me of a quote I heard once that even a blind squirrel will
01:20eventually find a nut. I love nuts.
