Gaza hospitals record nine deaths due to starvation in 24 hours

00:00Actually, the story is that I've just heard the report about the death of children out of starvation.

00:07The latest of those children was a five-year-old child at the Mahmoudani hospital in eastern Gaza city,

00:17was pronounced dead after he had succumbed to starvation.

00:22This is the latest.

00:24The latest also on the ground is that nine Palestinians who are seeking food aid supplies on the locations

00:32that are designated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation in southern Gaza Strip have been pronounced dead or killed today.

00:42Actually, another incident, other incidents like the strikes on a sheltered place in Gaza city,

00:50is a Rimal neighborhood, claimed the lives of five Palestinians,

00:55as well as another strike in eastern Gaza city on Al-Tufar neighborhood,

01:01claimed the lives of about six Palestinians.

01:04Also, in Khan Yunus, there have been strikes on different locations,

01:10including sheltered tents and apartment buildings.

01:13This situation, of course, is continuing and comes against the backdrop of failed,

01:19apparently failed ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas mediated by USA, Qatar and Egypt.

01:26After U.S.'s envoy to the talks,

01:29Steve Witkow announced that Hamas is to be blamed for the deadlocked talks between Israel and Hamas mediated by USA, Qatar and Egypt.

01:39Palestinians here have been expecting the troops to take into effect,

01:44but now they express, many of them express some sort of resentment and sadness for the outcome

01:52after long waiting, after having long waited for the ceasefire talks to bring a breakthrough

01:58that is more than imperative for the population under hunger and starvation.
