00:00In wrestling, legendary wrestler Terry Jimbolea, better known in the ring as Hulk Hogan,

00:05has passed away earlier this morning at the age of 71.

00:08This was confirmed by the Clearwater Police Department in Florida after responding to the wrestler's home

00:13where they attempted to save the life of the WWE champion but declared him dead on arrival.

00:19Known for his iconic red and yellow outfits, the Hulkster began his wrestling career in the 70s,

00:25helping to bring the sport into the mainstream in the following decades.

00:28In 2018, Hulk Hogan was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame for the second time

00:33and was named the greatest WWE superstar of all time by WWE co-founder Vince McMahon.
